Overview of the Holistic Dance and Movement Therapy (HDMT) qualification course

The course is a part-time qualification course for working professionals and runs over 3 years:
1007 teaching units (=TU) of 45 minutes each, comprising:

634 TU tuition +
373 TU practical training and therapy training

After each year of the course, you can decide whether you want to continue with the next part or take a break.

1st year of the course: Certificate in Creative Dance/Healing Movement Instruction

2nd year of the course: The Cycle of Life – biographical topics in HDMT

(7 weekends + 2 intensive seminars)
You will learn how Holistic Dance and Movement Therapy (HDMT) works and its effectiveness on your own body. The emphasis is on your own therapeutic experience and developing the personality of a therapist.

3rd year of the course: Theory and Practice of HDMT – qualification with certificate

(7 weekends + 2 intensive seminars)
You will learn the basic theoretical, methodical and practical skills of HDMT.
